I realize that is not possible for everyone to make it to union meetings.  Some union members are the sole caregivers for their family which makes it very difficult for them to attend meetings.  other members were a second job to help support their family, which also makes it difficult to attend meetings. 

 the meeting minutes could be posted on the web site thereby allowing all members to be informed of what happened at the meetings.

To help increase membership attendance  attendance at  union meetings we could  post  meeting schedules in a central location on the web site.  the schedule page we have meeting times and locations in the purpose of the meetings. 

General Membership meetings  should be scheduled  90  days in advance. 
Chapter meetings should be scheduled 45 days in advance.  

I believe that when you give the membership proper advance notice of meeting dates it will make it easier for people to adjust their schedules and make it to more meetings. 

Questions, comments or information could be emailed  to union officers or chapter officers.  And of course you would receive your answers by email. 

on this board you could post your questions in a public forum.  your answers would also be posted in a public forum.    in a public forum everyone can see your questions  end  if the answers you receive 

with the web bulletin board members could post notices two other members.  The notices could be of many different types such as fundraisers, items for sale, apartments for rent and information about job postings.  Basically anything you would put on a bulletin board at your work site could be posted on the web site.
